"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Unforgettable Night at Fetta’s Greek Taverna Came here with my family of five to celebrate my 50th birthday, and from the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel like part of the family. The warmth and hospitality at Fetta’s Greek Taverna set the tone for what turned out to be one of the most memorable nights I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely delicious—bursting with authentic Greek flavours. We started with a selection of dips, saganaki, octopus, and calamari, all perfectly cooked and full of taste. For mains, we enjoyed lamb gyros and moussaka, while the kids had a mixed gyro, pastitso with chips, and spaghetti bolognese. Every dish was generous, flavourful, and clearly made with care. The highlight of the night, though, came when we ordered dessert. The staff surprised me by coming out singing Happy Birthday, and then offered to lead the traditional Zorba dance, as well as smashing plates. Before we knew it, nearly the whole restaurant was up on their feet joining in! It was such a joyful, unexpected moment that made the night truly special. I’m so happy I celebrated my birthday at Fetta’s—they created memories I’ll hold onto forever. If only I could find an authentic Greek taverna like this back home. "Excellent authentic Greek menu offers an extensive range of Greek dishes. Atmosphere is lovely, I did feel like in Greece. We have been lucky to speak to lovely owner whilst there. He is in the restaurant business over 50 years. In Cairns over 24 years. Obviously he knows his job the best. Young personal here are very nice, friendly, polite and trying to accommodate all needs from guests. They are good in it. Our Zorba set menue was tasty and delicious as all Greek food is. The new menue doesn't include baklava as per web, only coffee. It's BYO restaurant with $5 charge per head. Thank you for lovely night."

"OMG went there by chance on my wifes actual 50th birthday. Delicious food came out really quickly. Service was exceptional. We danced to traditional music as the owner and staff smashed plates on the floor. I was nearly in tears as my wife enjoyed every moment. Greek wife, Melbourne family of 5. "I loved Fetta's. I was expecting to just share some entreés and wine with my boo and then get myself a meal elsewhere because they didn't have a lot of vegan options, but the three vegan dips on the dip platter, as well as the pita bread (toasted on outside the but also perfectly soft in the inside) and the black olives made me rethink my plan. I ended up getting the falafel pita. It was the best falafel I've ever had in my life, and as a vegan, that's often all I can get when eating out. It was so good we went back the next night and added the dolmades to our order. We thought it was too much food (it was) but it was so good that we finished it instead of asking to take the rest to go. I'm currently writing this from our hotel about to slip into a food coma. My omnivorous man was also blown away. The staff were lovely, making you feel right at home. George has created something truly special, and I hope we can come back to Cairns sometime."
